Group stage
Each player plays one match against every opponent in their group. One shared deadline, shown on the group page, applies to all matches.
OFFICIAL RULES · SEASON 01
One clear process for every SLAP LEAGUE match: arranging the court, reporting the score, confirming the result and resolving disputes.
SEASON FORMAT
Each player plays one match against every opponent in their group. One shared deadline, shown on the group page, applies to all matches.
After the group stage, the administrator creates and publishes a Top 8, 16 or 32 bracket.
Matches are single elimination. The winner advances, and the final winner becomes the Season 01 champion.
MATCH SCORE
A valid set score is 6:0–6:4, 7:5 or 7:6. A regular tie-break at 6:6 is included in the full-set score as 7:6.
Two full sets are played. At one set each, a match tie-break replaces the third set: first to at least 10 points with a margin of two.
The winner of the match tie-break receives one won set. Its points are not games and never count toward game difference.
The match continues until one player wins two full sets. At 1:1, a full third set is played rather than a match tie-break.
GROUP STANDINGS
The player with more match wins is placed higher.
When players have equal wins, the winner of their direct match is placed higher.
If needed, won games minus lost games is compared. Match tie-break points are excluded.
COURT & TIME
Opponents agree directly on the date, time, court, balls and how court costs are shared.
A match may be moved by mutual agreement if the new date remains within the group-stage deadline or the deadline for that playoff round.
Do not wait until the final day. Contact the administrator early and include your attempts to reach the opponent. The administrator decides the deadline or outcome.
REPORTING A RESULT
Either player enters the final score on the group page or in the playoff bracket.
The opponent reviews and confirms the score. A group result then enters the standings.
If the score is wrong, the opponent should not confirm it. Open a dispute and briefly describe the difference.
DISPUTES
The administrator reviews the reported result, both players’ explanations and any available evidence.
If the reported score is accepted as correct, the administrator confirms it without changes.
If the result cannot be verified, it is voided and the players must replay the match.
The administrator may require the replay to be recorded. The requirement is shown to both players on the site.
